Our markets showcase a range of BBQ related products and services from new and innovative gear to handmade goods. With something for everyone, you will be sure to find something special to take home. It’s also a great chance for those seeking to actively support local business.

If you have unique offering that you want to sell to a large audience, apply below.  We are seeking new products, designs, quirky settings and ideas.

Please note that your market stall application is not automatically accepted. It will be assessed against our specific criteria.

Your stall fee will include:

‐ Site within marquee at the Brisbane BBQ Festival

‐ Custom stall signage

‐ Marketing & Promotions

‐ Security

‐ Lighting

‐ 1 x Trestle Table

Please note: There will be a combination of fluorescent and pendant sodium lights hanging inside the marquee, however battery operated lighting is to be supplied by stallholder if additional lighting is required. Additional trestle tables can be arranged with organisers prior to the event for an additional fee.

Stallholder Fees 2016:

3m x 3m Stall = $100 + GST

6m x 3m Stall = $200 + GST

Power is NOT included in fees. ALL stallholders can purchase power: $50 per 10amp outlet. Please indicate below if you require power and how many amps.

You MUST be prepared to provide the following:

Public Liability Insurance to the value of $20 Million

Electrical Appliances tagged and tested

Images of products and stall layout

Please note: Stallholders are NOT required to obtain or provide proof of the above documents until their application has been successfully approved for the event.

‐ The Brisbane BBQ Festival will be held on Saturday 2 July 2016

‐ Applicants will be notified if their market stall has been successful or unsuccessful via email. Brisbane BBQ Festival reserves the right to reject submissions based on approval criteria

‐ Sites will be located under large marquee  

‐ Applicants must utilise the marquee and not bring their own

‐ 1 trestle table will be supplied and any other additional tables can be ordered for an additional fee prior to the event  

‐ Custom made signage is included in the stallholder fee  

‐ The Brisbane BBQ Festival does not take any responsibility for the loss or damage of items brought on site  

‐ NO PAYMENT NO SITE. Payments of sites are ONLY permitted once application has been confirmed successful and during the payment period outlined

‐ Brisbane BBQ Festival has the right to remove, without refund or recourse, any stallholder who misrepresents themselves or the product

‐ Custom designed signage will be provided and must be displayed in entryway to stall

‐ All stallholders must ensure their public liability is to the value of $20 Million

‐ Power is NOT included in stallholder fees and is available for purchase. Please advise us of your power requirements in the application form to ensure it is available on the day. Stallholders using the power supply must ensure appliances are in safe electrical order with current tested and tagged labels affixed. Stallholders need to supply their own lights and electrical leads for their stall area if successful

‐ Site fees will only be refunded at the discretion of the organisers. Generally, fees will not be refunded for a change of mind or better option, fees will only be refunded in exceptional circumstances

‐ Site locations are un‐negotiable and are allocated based on the best interest of the festival planning. Stallholders may request a specific location for legitimate reasons, however will not be allocated for other unjustifiable reasons  

‐ Cigarettes, alcohol or goods that cannot be sold by law are NOT permitted to be sold at the Brisbane BBQ Festival.  

‐ Animals are not allowed on site at any time

‐ Stallholders CAN share a stall with another business if required, however this must be prearranged with festival organisers  

‐ The stallholder is to confine their operations to within the boundary of the stall area and may NOT move the stall from the allocated space. NO operations are permitted outside the allocated stall area

‐ Organisers reserve the right to exclude any group, individual or organisation from participating in the festival  

‐ The stallholder will be solely responsible for, and bear all risk associated with the collection of money at, and the transfer of money to and from the site


‐ All applicants are required to host a market stall for the entirety of the event. Applicants should not apply if they are unable to commit to the whole day and night

‐ Stallholders are required to trade during the festival operation hours

‐ Stallholders may NOT bring their vehicle into the Brisbane BBQ Festival at any time during the event other than that designated for bump in and out times or unless pre‐arranged with event organisers

‐ More information will be provided to successful stall holders 2 weeks before the festival in the stallholders pack


‐ Personal Information and data will be collected for the purpose of processing applications

‐ Business details will be used to send emails regarding future events and opportunities in the Brisbane BBQ Festival that may suit your business

‐ Brisbane BBQ Festival do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer to outside parties, your personal identifiable information unless given consent to do so
